Apple Pie

This summer, I went to a baking camp and one of the recipes we made was for an apple pie. As always, I failed miserably by adding way too much water at the beginning. And so, now I have decided to give it another try, but this time at my house with my own (googled) recipes.

Here are the two websites I used.

The filling-I took out the butter and used 1 tsp of cornstarch instead.

The crust-(I mixed it by hand)

Although my finished product is not very pretty, the apples tasted great and would be good just on it's own! The crust just tasted like, well, butter.(I'm just not a big fan of it.)

Letting the dough chill because it had a bad attitude.

Baked and crispy!

Saw a video by Tasty where they placed the apples to look like a rose.

Yummm, cinnamon apples.
(My dad loved them the most).

It has flake! Which my previous one did not have.
