This is by far one of the best cakes I have ever made without my mom behind me telling me , "You need to do it like this...". It was tasty, not very sweet, light, and didn't' look like a truck ran over it. My whole family loved it, and them all agreeing on something is pretty rare.

When I made it, I overmixed the meringue and thought that it was all over, but much to my surprise, it still turned out great! I did not do the design on the cake (because who has time for that), and I substituted the cream for a strawberry raspberry "jam".

Strawberry Raspberry "Jam"

2 cups strawberries, washed and leave-less
Freeze dry raspberries

Crush the strawberries and drain the liquid out of the mixture. Smear them on the cooled cake and sprinkle the raspberries on top. Roll it and sift powdered sugar over the cake, only if you want to.

And voila! Enjoy!






It basically melts in your mouth!
