Here is the animatic I made, partly for a school project but mostly for myself. It needs work. A lot of work. But this is my first try at adding sound and actually making a fairly composed a story. It was supposed to be
The story is a man lives a repetitive cycle which keeps him from finding the joys of life. One day he is met with an opportunity to have an adventure of a lifetime and the animation bounces between the future and past finally arriving at the present.
It was meant to be serious, but I cannot help laughing at how terrible it is lool. I hope anyone who watches it can get a decent chuckle out of it.

For school I was given a task to create a suicide prevention 30 sec short that would be submitted to the Directing Change film contest. It took quite a bit of work and turned out better than I expected, animation wise, even though I had to cut over 2,000 frames just to fit the 30 sec criteria (it was horrible :,) ). If this film proves anything, it is that I have absolutely no patience to deal with sound effects. I spent about an hour looking at sounds and none of them were to my liking, after which I when and recorded my own, resulting in an instant delete. I think then most immediate thing on my agenda is to put together a simple animation with royalty free sound effects just to see that my perception of good and bad sounds is faulted, heavily.
